W Seattle presents Wear Wednesdays with VARSHA

W Seattle hosted the VARSHA Trunk Show on December 9th featuring the designer’s current Fall 2016 collection and minimal spring collection. My favorite piece from the fall collection has to be the All Over Fringe Skirt and Top (pictured below). This look dazzled me during the 4th Annual Independent Designer Runway Show at Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection this past September. Designer Varsha Argarwal definitely impressed not only the judging panel but the audience as well taking home 2nd place in the show and the Fan Favorite award totaling $2,500 in prize money.

After the busyness of showing at both Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection and Fashionxt in Portland this fall, Varsha will be taking a well-deserved break from the runway. So, unfortunately, we won’t see her collection at the upcoming Seattle Fashion Week showcases, but that’s no excuse to not shop this collection perfect for the professional, yet stylish working woman.

VARSHA

In a time of consumerism and fast fashion, we at  VARSHA embrace the resurgence of meticulously crafted clothes. The brand showcases modern, clean silhouettes for the everyday wear of the sophisticated urbanite. The signature tailored garment is designed keeping the professional and social obligations of the power woman in mind. VARSHA as a brand revels in fine fabrics and techniques. Its sensibility relies on a delicacy of detail. The lines are clean and sharp, and the aesthetic is bold and minimalist – a happy hybrid of form and function.
