Tech++ Launch Party & Fashion Show
Tech++ hosted their launch party and fashion show on Friday, December 4th at Galvanize in the Pioneer Square district of downtown Seattle. The crowd gathered in the basement of the building to hear two guest speakers talk about the statistics of women and minorities in the tech industry.Later the guests were treated to a quick fashion show with some of the models wearing Google Glasses. I got to try them on before the show, but I have to say I wasn’t very impressed. I stare at my phone and computer enough throughout the day and having wearable tech conveniently at my fingertips would probably just worsen my addiction. I do, however, love how they were incorporated into the looks.
