GRAPHIC DESIGN & EVENT MARKETING

Seattle Fashion Week 2015

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Seattle Fashion Week returned after a four-year hiatus, relaunching under new ownership and the support of a passionate volunteer team. Planning began in Fall 2014 with the goal of re-establishing the event as a premier fashion experience in the Pacific Northwest. As the Graphic Designer, I played a key role in shaping the event's visual identity and marketing presence for its highly anticipated four-day comeback in June 2015.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designed marketing materials, including event flyers, digital ads, social graphics, and event programs

  • Developed visual branding for the runway shows and trunk show to reflect the diversity of designers

  • Worked closely with the social media team to deliver on-brand visuals that elevated event promotion

  • Coordinated with vendors to ensure design deliverables met print production standards

  • Supported event production with on-site graphics and directional signage

NOTABLE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Featured designers included Project Runway Season 11 winner Michelle Lesniak, South African designer Thoki Tafani, and Seattle's own Justin Zachary Bartle

  • Event venues included Emerald City Trapeze Arts (runway shows) and Motif Seattle (trunk show)

  • Attended by local fashion influencers, press, and over 1,000 attendees
