Pacific Place Color Me Fall Style Event

And so it begins. My first event of the fall fashion season. The Pacific Place Color Me Fall Style Event co-hosted by Seattle Magazine was held on the third floor of one of my favorite shopping venues, Pacific Place. I honestly thought I would miss the entire event since I left work around 4:30 p.m. to make my way from Bellevue to Seattle. It took me one hour and six minutes to drive eleven miles!

Luckily, I made it without pulling my hair out (which wouldn’t have been very stylish of me) and entered the amazingly styled event. I made sure to bring a gently used handbag to donate to Dress for Success Seattle, which in turn got me a fun gold tumbler that should go nicely with all of the other gold accessories I’ve been hoarding lately.

After grabbing a delicious Brute Rose and making a lap around the event to see if I knew any of the other attendees, I got a Styled Seattle Color Reading by Darcy Camden of Styled Seattle. She asked what color is currently most visible in my closet and I responded with gray (which I happen to be wearing right now). She suggested that I pair it with emerald and oxblood pieces and add an orange accessory to finish the look. Those are three colors that no one will find in my closet, but I’m willing to try out some new looks, which means I may be getting some fall shopping done soon. The event was also lined with booth areas from L’Occitane Color Scentsory, Aveda, and Christine Stoll Jewelry and included a sneak preview of the collections that will be coming down the Seattle Fashion Week runway next month. What a great start to the season!

Next up is a fun cocktail party in downtown Seattle tonight and tomorrow, I’ll be busy at the Urban Air Market: Seattle“Fall Into Fashion” Show at Pacific Place, and the New York Fashion Academy 12th Annual Runway Show! If you spot me, come say hello!
