Fashion First Seattle 2017 Futurae

Ah, Fashion First. Every year, I look forward to this event because not only do I get to see Executive Director, Joan Kelly, I get to see what the best retailers in Seattle have to offer this season. But Fashion First is not just one of the best fashion shows in Seattle, it's also a fundraiser for local non-profit organizations.

This year, the show's beneficiaries were The Crescent Moon Foundation and Outdoors for All Foundation. The event raised money through a wine pull, a Kendra Scott jewelry pull (where I got lucky with this little number), and of course, the live auction. At the end of the night, the event raised $115,000!

Next, of course, came the fashion show produced by Terri Morgan of TCM Models (who always puts on a fabulous show). We got to see great fall/winter looks from Intermix, Fash Shop, Sway & Cake, Mercer, Butch Blum, Canopy Blue, MB Finds, Composure by Kelly, Carlisle by Diana Wampold, David Lawrence, and fashion design students from The Art Institute of Seattle.

If you missed out on the show this year, make sure to follow @fashionfirstsea on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for info on next year's event.
