Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection 2016: Sips & Suits

I must not have read the event description well enough because I wore my nude Christian Siriano pumps to the first event of Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection 2016, Sips & Suits. Little did I know I’d be wandering around Bellevue Square sampling different wines from Woodinville wineries.

Luckily, I had my Aldo Portanova flats in the car so I changed my shoes and started my quest. I only went to a handful of stores that were serving since my wine ticket limit was ten drinks and I had to drive home. I sampled wines in the following stores: Burberry (Michael Florentino Cellars), j coco chocolates (Des Voigne Cellars), lululemon athletica (Chateau Ste. Michelle), Pottery Barn (Castillo de Feliciana), Swarovski (Pondera Winery) and Williams-Sonoma (Warr-King Wines). I also managed to pop into Kate Spade and Ted Baker to check out their latest collections and fight my little devil encouraging me to purchase a few things.

Later, I made my way down to the VIP area and nibbled on some delicious appetizers from Tavern Hall and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. I also had the pleasure of sitting with some very well-dressed gentlemen, Leo Osahor, Founder & CEO of flightSpeak; Antonio Smith, UX designer, and travel, style and lifestyle blogger; and Jason Wesley, menswear blogger. We discussed everything from the importance of menswear to travel while my six glasses of wine wore off.

Overall, the event was fun. My only sour note about the event was waking up the next morning at 3 a.m. with a hangover and unable to go back to sleep. You can imagine how exhausted I was driving the two hours to work knowing that I had a long three days ahead of me.
