Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection 2016: Independent Designers Runway Show
It’s Sunday, which means Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection has come to an end. I can’t believe I made it through this week. It seems every year around this time, my exhaustion tends to get worse because I’m so busy commuting, working, and attending events. I have to admit though, the exhaustion is well worth it. I was able to wear my favorite outfits and enjoy delicious drinks and appetizers and of course, fabulous fashion with my style peeps.
The Independent Designers Runway Show was held on Thursday night and in celebration of all of the amazing local designers participating, I decided to wear my 4-Way Reversible Bamboo Dress by Katy Flynn, who was also my date to the show. Before the show, everyone had the opportunity to meet with the designers. I met Devon Yan of Devonation and Gina Moorhead of Gina Marie (who coincidentally sent me a Facebook friend request just a few days earlier). I also had a chance to catch up with Karen Okonkwo of Her Big Day and Erin Danielle of LYREL Media.
After about half an hour of mingling, we all gather in the main ballroom to find our seats for the show. Here are my favorite looks from the show. Congratulations to my favorite designer of the evening, Devon Yan! Those full skirts were to die for!
