Neiman Marcus CUSP Fall Trend Event

In all of the months I’ve been working on the Eastside, I’ve never actually had a chance to explore Neiman Marcus at The Bravern. It was actually my first time in the department store last night as I attended the Neiman Marcus CUSP Fall Trend Event. Just a little mixer for us stylish folk with a little shopping and champagne thrown in for fun. I only stayed for about thirty minutes since I had to get home to prepare for Fashion First tonight, but I managed to meet some new people and say hello to some familiar faces like Vivian Hsu, a well-known fashion photographer in Seattle, Lisa Drogin of Story of My Dress and of course, Sydney Mintle, Owner of Gossip & Glamour.

I’m even more excited for the fall season now! I’m ready to rock my moto jackets, long-sleeve bodycon dresses, and of course, my booties! I have to admit though, my main goal in attending last night’s fabulous event was to say hi to Sydney and give her a business card in case some fun design opportunities come up in the future. Mission accomplished!

Neiman Marcus

When the very first Neiman Marcus store opened in Dallas in 1907, Herbert Marcus, Sr., his sister, Carrie Marcus Neiman, and her husband, Al Neiman, promised to offer “a wide variety and more exclusive styles…than any other store in the South,” along with a pledge to uphold quality, superior values, and unparalleled service. As the company’s forty-first full-line store, NM Bellevue upholds this tradition of offering a well-edited selection of luxury merchandise and exemplary customer service in a spacious, contemporary setting. The Bravern

Rockefeller Center. Milan. Beaver Creek. London. These are just a few of the extraordinary places that inspired The Bravern. Our design team conducted extensive research with Northwest consumers to define the ultimate shopping experience. They visited more than 25 cities around the globe to capture the essence and character of the world’s most vital community spaces. Then they brought together the best of the best in The Bravern. Its classic, timeless architecture and lush landscaping reflect the intimate qualities of a European village while staying true to Northwest sensibilities. It is both traditional and contemporary at the same time. And the experience it offers is unlike anything else you’ll find in the Pacific Northwest or beyond. Visit thebravern.com for more info.
