Small Business Saturday at Espionage Cosmetics’ Geek Boutique
Who says nerds can’t be stylish? I took a short trip to downtown Tacoma to the Espionage Cosmetics Geek Boutique to check out their products for Small Business Saturday. The boutique was moderately packed with Christmas music playing in the background when we got there. The shop featured tons of cosmetics with bright colors and fun-themed nail wraps that reminded me of the Barbie press-on nails that my cousin and I used to play with when we were five years old. After browsing around a bit, I had the opportunity to meet with CEO and Glitter Jedi, Jaimie Cordero. We chatted a bit and even discussed featuring the boutique in an upcoming issue (stay tuned for that!).
Nice Rice was also on-site selling their handmade goods inspired by the cute and silly pop culture and geeky. My favorite was their Wonder Woman pin since I’m super obsessed with her at the moment and can’t wait to dress up as her for Emerald City Comicon!
Espionage Cosmetics will host Holiday Shopping @ The EC Geek Boutique on Saturday, December 12th (2 - 7 p.m.). Join them for drinks, snacks, and giveaways. Donations for Toys for Tots are also welcome!
