Website SEO Strategy
Broderick Group upgraded its website platform in 2023 to keep up with the digital needs of its clients. As the Marketing Specialist, I took the initiative to develop a search engine optimization strategy.
Challenge
Before the website makeover, there was no SEO strategy in place, and analytics for the website’s traffic were limited.
Solution
After completing the SEO Foundations course on LinkedIn, I used those tactics to develop a strategy for optimizing the website for increased search engine traffic.
Process
Organized a spreadsheet of SEO properties for each webpage
Uploaded SEO properties to the website backend via WordPress
Set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts
Analyzed Google Analytics reports to determine keywords that drive the most traffic to the website
Results
Increased website traffic from 5.9k users to 30k users year-over-year
Achieved a 408% increase in users year-over-year
Established analytics infrastructure for ongoing performance tracking
Shifted the website from a static brochure to a discoverable marketing asset
